How is an LMS account created for a learner?

An LMS account is created automatically once a learner is enrolled in a course by LPS Academy or a sponsoring organisation. An activation email is sent to the registered email address, allowing the learner to set a password and access the system. Accounts are unique to each individual to ensure accurate tracking, reporting, and certification records.

What should I do if I did not receive my account activation email?

If you do not receive the activation email, check your spam or junk folder first. If it is not found, contact Account Support with your full name and course details. The team will verify your enrolment and resend the activation link if necessary.

Can I use the same account for multiple courses?

Yes. A single LMS account can be used for multiple courses as long as the same email address is used for enrolment. This allows all learning history, progress, and certificates to be consolidated under one profile.

What happens if I have multiple email addresses?

Learners are advised to use one consistent email address for all enrolments. If multiple accounts are created accidentally, contact Account Support to request consolidation, subject to identity verification and administrative approval.

How do I reset my password?

Use the “Forgot Password” function on the LMS login page. A secure password reset link will be sent to your registered email address. For security reasons, reset links expire after a short period.

Are there password requirements?

Yes. Passwords must meet minimum security standards, such as length and character complexity. These requirements help protect your account and personal data from unauthorised access.

Can I change my registered email address?

Email address changes require verification to prevent data mismatches and unauthorised access. Requests must be submitted to Account Support, and historical learning records will remain intact after the update.

Can I update my personal profile information?

Learners may update certain profile details such as contact information directly within the LMS. Changes to critical identifiers may require administrative verification.

Why is my account temporarily locked?

Accounts may be temporarily locked due to multiple failed logins attempts or security alerts. This is a protective measure. Contact Account Support to restore access.

What happens if my account is inactive?

Inactive accounts may be deactivated after a prolonged period to maintain system security and data hygiene. Reactivation is subject to administrative approval.

Can my LMS access be suspended?

Yes. Access may be suspended due to policy violations, course expiry, non-payment, or administrative decisions. Affected users may be notified where appropriate.

How are roles assigned in the LMS?

Roles such as learner, trainer, or admin are assigned by administrators based on enrolment and operational requirements. Role-based access ensures users see only what is relevant to them.

Can I access the LMS from different devices?

Yes. You may access the LMS from multiple devices using the same account credentials. However, simultaneous logins may be monitored for security reasons.

Is my login activity monitored?

Login activity is logged for security, auditing, and troubleshooting purposes. This helps maintain system integrity and protect user accounts.

What should I do if I suspect unauthorised access?

If you suspect unauthorised access to your account, change your password immediately and contact Account Support. Prompt reporting helps prevent data compromise.

Can I delete my LMS account?

How long are account records retained?

Account and training records are retained according to organisational retention policies and regulatory requirements, even after access ends.
