Student Support
Student support encompasses holistic services (academic, emotional, professional, financial) in educational institutions to ensure student success, growth, and well-being, including tutoring, counseling, mentorship, and resources for personal development, helping them navigate challenges and build essential life skills for a positive learning journey.
When you are enrolled in a course, the LMS automatically sends an account activation email to your registered email address. This email contains a secure link to set your password and activate your account. Once activated, you may log in using your email and password from any supported device. If you do not receive the activation email, check your spam folder or contact Student Support for assistance. Access is granted only to learners officially enrolled in a programme.
If you forget your password, select the “Forgot Password” option on the LMS login page. A reset link will be sent to your registered email address. Follow the instructions to create a new password. For security reasons, password reset links expire after a limited time. If the email does not arrive or the link expires, contact Student Support to verify your identity and reset access securely.
After logging in, your learner dashboard displays all courses assigned to your account. Active courses appear under “My Courses,” while completed courses may be listed separately. If a course does not appear, ensure you are logged in using the correct email address used during enrolment. If the issue persists, Student Support can verify your enrolment status and correct any access discrepancies.
The LMS records your learning activity automatically, including module completion, time spent on lessons, quiz attempts, and assessment results. Progress updates in real time and is saved even if you exit the platform. This allows you to resume learning without repeating completed sections. Authorised administrators or sponsoring organisations may also view progress data for reporting and compliance purposes.
Yes. You may pause lessons and resume later from your dashboard. The LMS saves your last completed point automatically. For video-based lessons, playback typically resumes near where you stopped. However, progress is usually recorded only after key checkpoints, such as completing a page, video, or interaction. Learners are encouraged to complete lessons fully to ensure accurate tracking.
If your connection drops during a lesson, the LMS usually saves progress up to the last completed activity. For quizzes or assessments, behaviour depends on course rules. Some assessments allow resumption, while others may require a new attempt. If a disruption affects your assessment unfairly, contact Student Support promptly with details such as time, course name, and activity affected.
Many courses operate within defined access periods and completion timelines. These deadlines are communicated during enrolment or course briefing. Learners are responsible for managing their schedules and completing all requirements on time. Failure to meet deadlines may result in course expiry or ineligibility for certification, especially for regulated or sponsored programmes.
Course access duration varies by programme. Some courses provide access for a fixed period, while others allow extended or lifetime access for reference. Access terms are determined by licensing, organisational agreements, or regulatory requirements. Learners should review course details carefully. Once access expires, reactivation is subject to administrative approval.
Download permissions depend on course configuration. Some materials such as worksheets, readings, or templates may be downloadable, while videos and proprietary content may be restricted to online viewing. These controls protect intellectual property and compliance requirements. If you are unsure what can be downloaded, refer to the course instructions or contact Student Support.
Quizzes and assessments are embedded within course modules and must be completed according to the instructions provided. Some assessments are graded instantly, while others require trainer review. Passing criteria, number of attempts, and time limits are defined at the course level. Learners must complete all mandatory assessments to achieve course completion and certification eligibility.
If you do not meet the passing criteria, the LMS may allow additional attempts depending on course rules. In regulated or government-linked programmes, assessment limits may be strictly enforced. Trainers or Student Support may provide guidance on next steps. Learners should review feedback carefully before attempting it, where permitted.
Course retake policies vary by programme. Some courses allow re-enrolment for refresher purposes, while others require administrative approval. Retakes may reset progress and assessments. Learners interested in retaking a course should contact Student Support to confirm eligibility and any associated conditions.
Certificates are issued after all course requirements are met, including lesson completion, assessments, and attendance where applicable. Digital certificates are usually available for download directly from the LMS. In some programmes, certificates may require administrative verification before release. Learners will be notified once certificates are available.
Yes. If you lose your certificate or require a replacement, you may request a re-issue through Student Support. Identity verification is required to maintain record integrity. Re-issued certificates reflect the original completion date and are subject to administrative approval.
Only authorised administrators or sponsoring organisations can access your attendance, completion status, or certification records. Access is governed by data protection and confidentiality policies. Personal learning data is not shared with unauthorised parties.
Email address changes require identity verification to prevent data mismatch or unauthorised access. Learners must submit a request to Student Support. Once verified, the system will update records while preserving historical learning data for audit purposes.
If you experience technical issues such as loading errors, video playback problems, or system errors, try refreshing the page or switching browsers. If the issue persists, capture screenshots and contact Student Support with details of the problem and the action you were performing.
Yes. The LMS uses secure authentication, access controls, and data protection measures to safeguard user information. Personal data is handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws and organisational policies.
Access may be suspended due to course expiry, prolonged inactivity, policy violations, or administrative decisions. Learners will be informed where applicable. Reinstatement is subject to review and approval by administrators.
Student Support can be contacted via the official LPS Academy support email or the LMS help ticket system. When submitting a request, include your full name, course title, and a clear description of the issue to enable faster resolution.
