🇸🇬 Secondary 1 • Age 12–13 • 20-Lesson Respect and Responsibility Journey

Personal Boundaries, Consent and Adolescent Responsibility

A vibrant Character and Citizenship Education journey for students, parents and teachers. Secondary 1 learners examine growing responsibility, physical, emotional and digital boundaries, consent, refusal, coercion, respectful and controlling relationships, sexual harassment, inappropriate touching, grooming, image-sharing, vaping, drug offers, accurate reporting, victim impact, accountability and rehabilitation through age-appropriate cases, guided discussion, message analysis, role-play and repeated application.

🧒 Student /S1 — opens first 👨‍👩‍👧 Parent — teach at home 👩‍🏫 Teacher — teach, assess and monitor 🛡️ Serious-risk prevention and age-appropriate legal awareness
Important educational notice: This is a proposed Secondary 1 resource and not the present MOE syllabus. It is designed for education, training and awareness, not personal legal advice. Schools should align delivery with approved safeguarding, Sexuality Education, Cyber Wellness, discipline, emergency and reporting procedures and the latest official Singapore law. Teaching must remain non-graphic, culturally sensitive, victim-centred, protective rather than fear-based and clear about accountability. Students are not required to memorise statutory sections or sentencing tables.

📚 Official Singapore Reference Points
