Applying Appreciative Inquiry in Organizations (EB007) focuses on transforming individuals and organisations through a positive, strengths-based approach to change. Unlike traditional problem-solving methods that emphasise weaknesses and gaps, Appreciative Inquiry centres on identifying what works well and expanding those successes to create sustainable improvement.
This programme introduces learners to the core principles of Appreciative Inquiry, including the importance of positive questioning, constructive dialogue, and collaborative thinking. Participants will explore how shifting from “what is wrong” to “what is working” can significantly improve morale, engagement, and performance across teams. The course highlights practical frameworks such as the Four D Model, which guides individuals through discovery, visioning, design, and execution, as well as the Four I Model, which supports organisational-level implementation.
In addition, learners will develop skills in positive communication, coaching, and leadership, enabling them to influence others effectively and foster a culture of trust and collaboration. Concepts such as anticipatory reality and positive imagery are introduced to help individuals visualise success and shape future outcomes.
By the end of the programme, learners will be equipped to drive meaningful change, strengthen organisational culture, and unlock the full potential of individuals and teams through a positive and forward-thinking approach.
